You've read Richard Bolles on the correct perspective for job interviews?
No I haven't
It's the same as yours; job applicant interviewing potential employer rather than vice-versa.
Good comments on time vs. money investing and the mutual benefits of unconventional perks such as professional cleaning.
Too many managers still don't appreciate the time-value of staff employees. Doesn't make sense for $50-100+/hr. skilled employees to be doing minimum wage tasks. There's nearly always an opportunity cost.
