The watch band that could take my Fenix 7 Pro and mount it on my upper arm broke. No substitutes could be found. I broke out the older Polar OH1+, but the battery died after only 6 hours. The COROS HRM came highly recommended, and I was quite impressed.
First, the battery life is amazing. Even after a week of riding it would still be around 20% of battery left. I use it a lot more than the Polar or the Schosche because it never sits on the charger. I can just leave it in my helmet and then I won't forget to wear it! The device has been very accurate, and matches my subjective experience much more than the other HRMs I've tried. It doesn't have the weird dropouts the Schosche had.
I'm keeping the device. Recommended!

I have been wondering whether to switch from the Garmin watches to the Coros watches. They are cheaper and have better battery life.
I'm too deep into Garmin's ecosystem to switch.
